One Past Two

a filmblog by Aimee de Jongh

The film is finished! Took a lot of hard work, but it’s been worth it. The result is amazing. A short preview will be published soon. For now, enjoy the filmposter!

Colour preview!

This is how the colours of the film will be like. The background will still get a slight “gradient” but the girl is finished! 🙂

Backgrounds and 3D models

Long time no see!
Here are some new screenshots from the film. I’ve reached the two minutes last week and I’m gonna keep animating and drawing as good and fast as I can. Two months to go!

The first two are 3D models made in MAYA software. I used them to determine wether some shots were possible and to help me out with my perspective issues… The other ones are backgrounds!

First preview in motion

Here’s a quick preview of the film so far. There’s still so much to do… clean the sketches, make more snow, finish the backgrounds… And all of the animation. But if I keep going at this speed, I’m sure it will work out! Enjoy and share your thoughts (but keep in mind that this is a very rough version!)

Recording Day!

Today we recorded the voices of Tim (by Henri van Adelberg) and Eve (Eva van Gerven). Friend and director Hans Walther helped us through the day. Thanks to Henk-Jelle de Groot and Rob Dielissen to make the studio voice-actor-ready! It was a great success.

Here are some pictures that we took after the recording. As you can see we were happy with the results 🙂
